Six tips to save ink when printing

Everyone knows that buying ink cartridges for your PC printer can be pricey, so I have come up with 6 ways you can dramatically cut these costs and spend that money on the more exciting things in life.
Here we go-
1.
Always consider the font you use. Does it have to be that size? does it have to
be bold and underlined? You wouldn't imagine this makes much difference. But if
you print out a 1000 word essay in bold rather than standard you will be
wasting a lot of ink.
2. On most printers you will have the option to print in draft mode. This basically prints your work but doesn't use as much ink. Originally designed for you to see your work to check it over, but normally you will find this kind of print is actually fine as it is.
3. Only print when necessary. Don't just print out a load of text when you can just as easily read it online. This sounds very simple I know, but some people find things easier to read when they have it in their hand.
4.
Make sure you know what you are printing. Everyone knows that moment when you
copy and paste something from the internet and it goes onto multiple pages,
then you print only to realise you've just printed out a large picture of a
black dog on the last page you didn't even need.
5. Print preview. This is one that often gets overlooked. You can use this button as many times as you need to and get you work looking exactly how you want it before you go ahead and print.
6. Buy non-brand cartridges. You can buy them from 4inkjets.com. Have you heard of this site? Read about them in this page: www.buhelo.com/4inkjets-coupons. Don't think, just because you have to certain type printer you have to buy ink refill made by the same company. Make sure you shop around as there are plenty of bargains to be had.
